Dr. Dykema has worked with hundreds of patients who have had ties to the criminal justice system. She believes incarceration is ineffective, inhumane, and obstructs justice. She is deeply committed to serving victims of state violence, and works closely with Wayne State University Law School, where she is a part-time student.
